14.4. Face-up suspensions 1 (intermediate) CANCELLED

Workshop content:

In this workshop, roo and Nana offer teaching perspectives for both bottoms and tops. The content is built on their shared practice and experience in face-up suspensions.

The workshop will cover:

  • how to build a solid lifting point to the front of an upper-body-tie

  • optional hands-on-sides harness OR help with adjusting your chosen harness

  • suspension-line management and lifting techniques

  • weight distribution on a single point

  • bottoming skills regarding safety and body awareness in suspension

Exercises will focus on building static suspensions that offer possibilities for communication, connection and learning about suspensions together. To take part in this workshop, you should already have some experience in suspensions, be familiar with the required technical skill-set, and understand the risks involved. If you are unsure about something, please ask before attending the workshop.

Please sign up with a tying partner as exercises are done in pairs. You will receive an info-mail about a week before the workshop.
