Accessibility

Our venue Eskus is located on the 2nd floor of an old industrial building. The space is accessible by wheelchair via elevator. Please contact the organizers in advance to get access to the elevator, and if you need more information about the space. There is one step at the exterior door. Inside Eskus. The venue has three gender neutral toilets, one of which is  accessible with wheelchair (more information further).

Personal assistants and sign language interpreters enter the workshop free of charge, safer space code of conduct applies to all participants. If you attend with a service dog, please let us know beforehand, so we can give a heads up to other participants. The studio does not have a hearing induction loop, we try to accommodate for hard of hearing.

getting in without personal assistant, contact the workshop organizers directly. We will help if needed. It’s best to email well in advance.

Accessible entrance

Accessible toilet

The accessible toilet can be found between the entrance and the kitchen. There’s a threshold of approximately 2 cm. There are handles on both sides of the toilet seat. The handles can be turned aside upwards  to gain more space. There is a water tap and a shower available.
