Accessibility: Eskus is located on the 2nd floor of an old industrial building. The space is accessible by wheelchair via elevator. Please contact the organizers in advance to get access to the elevator, and if you need more information about thresholds etc. The venue has unisex toilets, one of them accessible by wheelchair. We will begin the workshop by discussing TK in general, exploring its different styles and variations. Next, we will address TK from a safety perspective, focusing on how to minimize risks (note: there is always risks even though we try our best to minimize them).
After that we will dive into the tying techniques of TK in detail. We focus on finding a TK that works for each individual's body and various other needs. We will also show couple different options for 3rd rope.
You are also welcome to join the workshop if you have encountered issues with TK, and together we can explore different solutions to them. The workshop includes time for personal instructions. You can come with any related questions, and the workshop holders will do their best to answer them.
Workshop will cover:
Investigation in anatomy for TK and overview of general safety and nerves
Basic structure of TK and tying it
Couple options for 3rd rope
Modifications for adapting to different body types and needs (e.g different ways to position arms)
Prior information requirements:

Solid knowledge of single column tie and basic frictions (reverse tension, x-friction, munter hitch, half moon, etc.)
Has experience in tying patterns and tying on the floor
Solid tension managent
Understanding of safety and nerves

It is recommend that you've been in ropes before and you know what works for your body and what does not. Knowledge of your own limits and capability. (The workshop contains tying specific hand behind back pattern for long period of time, which can be hard on your body).
You have information about risks in tying, specially nerve issues and you know how to recognize nerve issues in your own body
